Coastlines and culture
Travellers move from the wild beauty of northern beaches to the alpine landscapes and cultural centres of the South Island, learning about New Zealand through local stories and a deep sense of place.
Student exchange
A six-week experience for New Zealand students aged 16–18, with one week in school and one week of travel and activities in each of France, Italy and Germany.
Students travel in small groups of 4–6, spending two weeks in each country and learning through lived experience, in partner schools, local communities, and everyday cultural moments. The programme is highly competitive and selection is based on character, curiosity, and the value this opportunity could bring to each student. It is a chance to build confidence, independence, and genuine friendships while discovering how much can change when learning happens beyond the classroom.
France
Students spend one week attending a partner school and one week exploring cities, regional traditions, food culture, and outdoor experiences across France.
Italy
In Italy, the rhythm shifts toward food, art, language, and shared experience. This leg is about building confidence while engaging with a completely different way of life.
Germany
Students begin to bring together their experiences across the three countries, building new perspectives and a stronger sense of independence through structured travel and group support.
Reciprocal exchange
Throughout the exchange, 4–6 international students travel to New Zealand for a similar six-week experience, touring from north to south through mountains, lakes, beaches, native bush, and a week in a New Zealand school. This is an immersive cultural exchange where students share their stories, compare life in Europe with life in Aotearoa, and build lasting friendships across borders.
Aotearoa experience
Travellers move from the wild beauty of northern beaches to the alpine landscapes and cultural centres of the South Island, learning about New Zealand through local stories and a deep sense of place.
The route includes some of the country’s most iconic scenery, lakes, mountain passes, native bush, and open spaces that make the trip feel grounded, adventurous and unforgettable.
Mid-trip, international students attend a New Zealand school for a week, joining school life and connecting with local students before continuing their journey through the country.
